Newsroom Administrators
Role of Newsroom Administrators
The activities of IRM Newsroom are controlled by the Newsroom Distribution Channels matrix and the Newsroom Administrator. Newsroom Administrators can also add additional List Pages in IRM Newsroom and control which news is published where.
And much more!
Welcome to your role as IRM Newsroom administrator. The IRM Help Centre provides a great deal of information that you will need to know, but there's nothing better than a face to face (or online meeting) IRM training session. Just ask us.
Publishing News
You're in control!
In the default settings in the Distribution Channels when IRM Newsroom was first delivered, some ASX Announcements were set to auto publish and the rest require your approval. You can change these settings at any time.
When news requires approval, the Newsroom Administrator gives the approval by a simple click on a link in an email, or by logging in to make more choices if the default is not right this time.
When there's multiple Newsroom Administrators, its first in best dressed for the approval. So you can back each other up, nothing is missed, and everything is quick.
Check out the full list of pending and released articles. Re-release news items to additional or different channels at any time. Upload manual pieces of news and distribute them.
The Newsroom Administrator manages the Distribution Channels after the initial setup by IRM. Add new news sources, new website pages for the developers to pull through to your website, new distribution channels, manage email distribution groups and individual subscribers, upload and download subscriber lists and more. A full training program is offered by IRM for Newsroom Administrators.
